You know the drill, I am stealing Jen’s Sunday Sentiments button and idea and making it mine tonight.
~O.M.G. These basketball games are too much to handle. Michigan State lost in a nail biter. Which broke my heart by the way. And then that Michigan game was SO close. They were *this* close. Ugh. I was so so so hoping for a Michigan – Michigan State title game. No dice. Brutal.
~Other than those games, we had a great Sunday! Lunch at Rainforest Cafe and a little window shopping followed by a ton of playing outside! It wasn’t “warm”, but it was certainly warm enough for the kids to get outside and burn off some energy. And tomorrow is suppose to be even nicer. Yes!!!
~I haven’t gotten any subscription boxes in a few days and am pretty close to being caught up, so I have gotten a chance to get a ton of stuff done. Our taxes are almost done, my computer hard drive is all backed up, I finally deleted all the pictures from my iPhone and I am feeling pretty darn good about all that. Next on the agenda is cleaning out my box closet (sometimes when I don’t know what to do with something I put it in the closet which is a horrible idea because then I forget what I did with it) and tackling the kids clothes. I think I am going to take the easy way out and try and sell them at our next garage sale. Hopefully that works!
~I have been slacking on the Challenge and my clean eating, but plan to get back on the wagon this week. That’s all you can do! I am going to blame it on finding the Birthday Cake M&M’s! I personally think they are great (they are bigger than regular M&M’s if you are curious), but L isn’t a fan. WB had a few and was a HUGE fan. I found them at CVS in case you are looking. My Target didn’t have them.
~Golden Tote has released a bunch of spoilers for their April sale. It starts on the 7th (be ready) and has a ton of cute Spring dresses! I really want to see more of that black dress with the girl in the hat. That looks like it’d be right up my alley!
~So my obsession with T.J. Maxx is in full swing and now I need all you shoppers to tell me how often you go? Is once a week enough? Also, what have been your best ever finds?

Sorry! Baby hit reply for me. Anyway, I scored full sized Bliss body wash at TJ Maxx for $3 yesterday!
I used to hit one of the TJX family every other week but haven’t in quite a while. I go when I feel like I need to go shopping but don’t know what to buy! Lately I go to Home Goods more. All the Marshalls I’ve been to around here are very empty. I mean seriously empty.
Spent today at the Picture People. 3 hours and I had a scheduled appointment. E was not a happy camper and trust me, I was lucky I have what few pictures I do out of the deal. They should give a discount if you have to wait over an hour after your appointment time just to get your pictures taken. Ugh.
Oh man, I would have left. That is an insane wait time and no little ones can handle that!!
I’m a tj max, Marshall’s, homegoods addict! My best ever find is I managed to collect a huge collection of le creuset cookware for DIRT cheap… it took a while but was well worth it.

I didn’t get to watch any of the games today. I was meeting with the girls going over plans for our cruise next week. Eeehhh 10more sleeps. LOL I did go and look however and I’m slowly moving up your bracket 😉
I need to work TJMaxx into my rotation more often. I didn’t make it today either but hopefully early this week with my mom here to help with the mini men.
I wish we had a Rainforest cafe here. It us such a fun place to go with the boys.
It is a fun place! I think L always forgets we have one by us. It’s a little out of the way, but worth the trip. It’s in a big indoor outlet mall ;).
How long is the cruise for???
This last week has been very slow for subscription boxes for me too, but unfortunately unlike you I didn’t get a lot done regardless. I haven’t felt great, so after I got my work done I just tried to rest as much as I could.
So you have a whole closet for subscription box goodies? Do you have it spit into bins for gifts, swapping, etc? I started a small box for gifts earlier this month – I think it is going to be nice to have around Christmas time!
It’s not just for box stuff. It’s kind of our catch all closet. And where my nail polish collection lives. I separate it by category and have a few boxes I am putting together in there for friends / family of things I think they’d enjoy.
I tj Maxx it a couple times a week but usually do different locations and I’ve gotten tons of great finds my most memorable though was a really adorable juicy couture swim suit for $5!

I was by said outlet mall today, but didn’t go in. The Nordstrom rack down the road seduced me with shoes and took all of my money, lol.
Best finds? Probably Pink Sugar for $25 (at Nordstrom rack, there’s 3 left), at Marshall’s, a $99 hat for 15$.
I love Pink Sugar!!! I went to the Neiman’s outlet today. That place is trouble!
Oh, how often do I go? Not more than once or twice a month. I usually don’t buy anything, but I’ve been bad lately, lol.

Marshall’s is closest for me and it’s a really clean, well-organized one with a lot of new, rotating inventory. I bought a gorgeous lamp, large Michael Kors purse (I want to say around $120.) , Bliss lotion, and King Cube tray ($3 I think) recently. I love finding inexpensive Yankee Candles there, too.
I almost bought king cube trays this weekend. I store jewelry in them!
If I lived closer to my TK Maxx I’d probably go twice a week but I normally go a couple of times a month! Yesterday was the first time in ages I went into one and didn’t buy anything!
I hope you guys had fun at The Rainforest Cafe! It made me think of Disneyland Paris because that’s the only time I have been to one!

The closet one is about 25-30 minute drive the other ones are about 40 minutes away, but I don’t have many shops closer to me than that haha!
I can never leave TJ empty handed! My best score ever was a $170 Ralph Lauren side bag for $27. LOVE TJ!!!

I like to hit Tjmaxx/Marshalls stores on Thursdays or Fridays. By then they’ve had their delivery and it’s all out for the weekend before everyone starts shopping!

How fun you have a Rainforest Cafe close! So I wasn’t planning to do Golden Tote in April but after seeing the spoilers I am thinking I might have to get it!! Also, I’m proud of you for deleting pics off your iPhone! My storage fills up about every other week, but I can’t bear to delete all the photos!! (Never again getting just the 16 GB!!)
I have them all on my computer, but deleting them from the phone is still hard!
We took the kids to that Rainforest Cafe for the first time back in the fall after a Disney Live show and the seven year old loved it but it was way too intense for the little guy. We had a great seat right by the elephant but we had to move because he was terrified. Luckily a table by the aquarium was open so we moved over and looking at the fish calmed him down enough to climb off of my lap so we could both try to eat. I totally thought going there was going to be a big treat for both of them, wrong-o! We ended up having to go look at the fish and ducks in the pond by the bridge in the outdoor store afterward so he could continue to recover. Brad felt so bad, he bought the kid a ton of Cars stuff at the Disney store to try and make it a less traumatic experience for him.
Awww, poor guy! My little kept an eye on the tiger near us during the storm. He wanted to make sure it wasn’t moving closer to him!!!
I have a TJ Maxx/Home Goods near me and I love it for fancy soaps and kitchen stuff! I have started collecting bamboo cutting boards and I always seem to find fun styles at TJ’s for as low as $2. My husband likes to buy designer underwear there and he now has a good supply of Calvin Klein and Lucky Brand items.
I noticed that they have a nice selection of fancy socks there too which I am all over.
Oh my gosh – I totally go to TJMaxx like once a week. I love their gourmet foods section and I’ve been able to pick up toys/treats from brands I’ve seen in Barkboxes! I always get decor from there to decorate for the holidays. Also, their beauty section is insane, I’ve seen great stuff from Bliss, Philosophy, Juice Beauty, opi, etc!
I didn’t check out the food section too much, but it looked like they had some fun stuff in there. I can’t wait to go back!
