~Happy Monday! I mentioned it yesterday, but it’s just WB and I around here the next few days. B’s still gone and L’s up-north. Check out his fish! It’s his first catch of the year! I am sure this fish will be caught and thrown back many times this summer. Probably many times in the next few days alone ;).
~It’s my birthday week! I am hoping to sneak out this weekend when B’s home and get a mani / pedi or something along those lines. And WB and I will sneak a trip to the mall in this week too because I know he’ll want to get me something. LOL!!!
~I watched “Life As We Know It” last night and I really liked it! I don’t *think* I have seen it before (although I suppose it’s possible since I can never remember) and it’s not a B kind of movie so it was perfect. I am thinking maybe “Labor Day” tonight because my neighbor keeps asking me if I have seen it and I’ve told her I’d watch it about a dozen times now. She swears it’s amazing.
~I am thinking it’s going to be a pretty slow subscription box week around here. I am expecting Hazel Lane, Hammock Pack, Bespoke Post, Lip Factory, maybe Julep and Birchbox Man (although those are July boxes) and hopefully a Fancy Box or two? I hope to get a few surprises as well!
~Has anyone seen the full Yes To Coconuts line at their store yet? I saw (and bought) the face wipes and really like them and now I want to try more things. Is it out yet? And while we are talking about coconuts, has anyone tried the OGX Coconut Water Hydration Oil? Is it good? I like the just got the shampoo and conditioner which smells awesome and I am hearing good things about this!

Happy Birthday Week! May you have a wonderful week and year. My 5 year old is convinced that L caught a pufferfish. Another week of driving the boys around to camps while DH is traveling. I ordered a few boxes from Darby using vouchers from Gilt. The boxes will arrive today or tomorrow. Beauty DNA is arriving tomorrow. I’m using some of my alone time this week to look through the stores while they are at camp. I’ll update if I see Yes to Coconuts. Any chance of the FabFitFun VIP box shipping this week? 1000 Places Quarterly is 6th in line for shipping and since Nina Garcia is suppose to ship next Monday…guess I will be still waiting for both boxes.

I have a topbox that’s due to be delivered but no clue which one it is. Hopefully my Flare Nails box. I have some trades to mail but I refuse to go to Detroit or even downtown Windsor to get to the tunnel the Fireworks night. I know they’re closing things early so I will save it until tomorrow. I have to work one night shift tonight so I will be napping later then I have two weeks off. We’re going to the Toledo Zoo and we’re going to the Outdoor Adventure Park http://westbloomfieldadventurepark.org/ and getting the trailer cleaned, decluttered and inventoried for camping next month
Oh I do not blame you at all! I am sure it was crazy! I have never been to that park in West Bloomfield but it’s for sure on my list! Enjoy your two weeks off!
I loved “Life as we know it” too and my husband like it, he endured all the movie hehehe. About “Labor Day” I read the book some time ago and I like it, but I did not see the movie because usually I like the books more than the movie, my friends did not see it, so I did not have any firs hand review, let us know if you like it so I can put it in my watch list for this summer 🙂
Ohh, I didn’t even know there was a book. I probably would feel the same way as you. The movies are never as good.

I liked Life as we Know it too. However I have a hard time with Katherine Heigl. She keeps going back to tv and does a show and after a couple years she gets all high and mighty and throws a fit to leave for movies. I mean if you think you above tv then just don’t do tv. Some actors can go back and forth but I guess she just can’t do it. I actually like her in movies way more then on tv so just pick one already. 🙂 I haven’t seen Labor Day but it did look good in previews. I just started watching Game of Thornes and am in season 2 so I have plenty of those to last me awhile LOL
It is driving me crazy that I cannot remember if I saw that before. I try and forget that I don’t love KH when I watch her movies.
Sigh! I checked Quarterly today and 1000 Places is pushed back to July. Darby came today.
